This blog has taken so many twists and turns over the year. I hope they've helped you get to know me as a person. I'm someone who really cares about people, regardless of who they are. I'm also someone who can't work due to my health, but I don't want to sit still either. So, the newest turn is that I've become what I'm calling a "Professional Volunteer."
I've decided to invest my life in volunteer work. Fortunately, I've found a lot that I can do online and even some that I can do in the community. I'll be sharing these with you as I also help my son take care of some new significant health issues and working for Uber Eats and We Go Look - jobs that are flexible enough to let me be dedicated to the volunteer work that I'm passionate about.
Currently, I'm serving at THRIVE as a crisis responder and Karma Rescue answering calls for their spay and neuter clinic. I'm also transitioning into a virtual assistant role for Invisible Entrepreneurs and waiting to hear back from the City Mission. I'm tired of sitting at home where I feel like I'm doing nothing and helping nobody. I look forward to embarking on this new chapter of my life and sharing it with you.
